Discover how "Pollinating Lives" protects migrating hummingbirds in Bahia de Banderas, Nayarit. We address habitat loss by growing nectar-producing plants in our nursery. These plants are distributed in community gardens and bird watching hotels. Additionally, we offer education and training to identify and record these birds. If you have not yet visited San Pancho or the Bahía de Banderas region, we invite you to meet our pollinator garden club that, in addition to having been improved with native plants preferred by hummingbirds, now has its own portal on the citizen science platform NaturalistaMX in which visitors to each of the gardens will be able to add their observations and thus contribute to the knowledge and conservation of hummingbird populations as well as the adaptation to climate change of the local tourism industry by adopting best practices that favor the ecosystem, community and local economy.
